01Data controller
AZOT SAS, 78 avenue de Paris, 92320 Châtillon, France (RCS Nanterre 894 762 657). For any question about your data: hello@azot.dev.
02The data we process
When you write to us, by email or through the contact form: your name, your email address, your company name if you give it, and the content of your message.
The form sends your message to the AZOT team's Slack workspace, where we receive it as a notification. It is not stored in any database of the website.
Only with your consent, we measure the website's audience (see "Audience measurement"). No account, no advertising.
03Why, and on what basis
To answer your request, organise the free audit and, if you wish, prepare a proposal. This relies on pre-contractual steps taken at your request and on our legitimate interest in answering the people who contact us.
04Audience measurement
If you accept it in the banner, we use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) and PostHog (PostHog Inc.) to learn which pages are read and what leads to a contact request: pages viewed, clicks on contact buttons, form submissions (without their content), device and browser type, approximate country or city, and a random identifier stored in a cookie.
With the same consent, PostHog also records how some visits unfold (pages, scrolling, clicks) to help us improve the website. What you type in fields, including the contact form, is never recorded.
This relies on your consent. You can withdraw it at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. Google's advertising signals are turned off and we do not identify you.
This measurement data is kept for 14 months at most.
05How long we keep it
Our exchanges are kept for 3 years after our last contact, then deleted, unless a contract has been signed in the meantime.
06Who can access it
The AZOT team only. Form messages reach us through Slack (Slack Technologies, United States). If you accept audience measurement, Google and PostHog process the measurement data on our behalf. We neither sell nor rent your data.
07Transfers outside the European Union
Railway, Slack, Google and PostHog are US companies or subsidiaries of US companies. Data transfers to the United States rely on the safeguards provided by the GDPR: the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
08Cookies and storage
Without your consent, the website sets no cookies.
If you accept audience measurement: Google Analytics sets the "_ga" and "_ga_…" cookies (13 months) and PostHog a "ph_…" cookie (1 year), with related data in the browser's local storage. If you withdraw your consent, we delete them.
Your choice is saved in the browser's local storage ("azot-consent") and asked again after 6 months. You can change it at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of the page.
It stores a single flag in your browser's session storage, "azot-splash", so the opening animation does not replay on every page. It disappears when you close the tab and is not used for tracking.
The website is hosted by Railway (Railway Corporation, United States), which keeps technical logs (IP address, pages requested, date) for security and operation, for a limited time.
09Third-party services
Links to LinkedIn, GitHub, Instagram, TikTok and Google Maps open those services, which apply their own privacy policies.
10Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing, and ask for its portability, by writing to hello@azot.dev. We reply within one month.
You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
